Content	<?php video( 'max.m4v' ); ?> <br> <br> <?php ruler( 'About' ); ?> The score for this film was realized through musique concrète techniques utilizing conventional cinematic sound effects and recordings of improvised violin as source material. This source material was manipulated live with custom software instruments implementing granulation, phase-vocoding, and reverberation algorithms. The results were arranged and mixed in a multi-track editor concurrent to the production of effects tracks. Finally, music and sound design were mixed down to a stereo soundtrack for the film. <br> <br> The animation was created by Simon Chung, a fellow CalArts alumnus.<br><br>
